Oxford Japanese Mini
Here's a few things people are saying about the Oxford Japanese Mini Dictionary.

- I bought this dictionary when I first started learning Japanese and after 3yrs I still use it. The content is great, it's small enough to put in your pocket, and the words aren't too small to read. Fortunately, this book doesn't use romaji. It does include kanji with the hiragana and katakana so it's easier to find a specific word. Not only are you given definitions, you're also given examples and there's a mini phrase-finder in the middle. There are also kana and verb charts at the back for quick reference. I really love this book and the information is current and correct (I've had native speakers complement this dictionary). Overall, this dictionary is amazing but there are still a lot of things in the Japanese language that's missing (but the book would probably be gigantic if EVERYTHING was included). 9/10 times you will find exactly what you're looking for when you search for a word in this book.

- I bought this for a friend who is studying Japanese. He loves it and uses it all the time.
